2017 Mother's Day Celebration
This year's Mother's Day will be celebrated jointly by the three Bay Area Igbo Catholic communities (San Francisco, Hayward and San Jose) on May 14th, 2017 at St. Francis Of Assisi Parish in San Jose. We will be honoring all mother's on this special day with a high mass followed by community festivities.
Annual Youth Weekend: The annual three-day activity educates the youth and young adults of our community on social skills and the Igbo culture. A special day is dedicated to fun and games followed by an evening retreat under the direction and guidance of our chaplain. The weekend is capped off with a high mass during our regular Sunday mass.
As contained in the constitution, the Community conducts quarterly meetings which are open to the general membership. Meetings are held on a rotational basis at homes of members of the Community.
